Inside the Hatta House
See the palm trunks that form the supporting pillars of the house? That's exactly how the original Prophet's (peace be upon him) masjid was built.
Then they dug a foundation for a stone wall and built up the stone wall to about head height. Then on top of the stone wall, in the Prophet's (peace be upon him) Masjid, they put mud bricks, but here they've put some kind of wicker. The roof is made of palm fronds. (Just like it was in the original Prophet's (peace be upon him) Masjid!)
